「五感の国際関係論」。音楽、アート、規範、アイデンティティなど、文化（芸術文化／大衆文化）をグローバルヒストリー、帝国史、国際関係史の観点から、政治経済などと一体的に大きな文脈で考察する。
This seminar uses insights from global history, imperial history and international relations history to widely consider the confluence of culture (fine arts/mass culture) and other fields such as political economics. Specific topics include identity, art, cultural norms, music, and the “international relations theory of the five senses.”

グローバル・ヒストリー、つまり、帝国史から現在の国際関係までを統一的に理解することを目標にして研究・考察しています。現在は、イギリス帝国史、国際連盟史・国連史など並行して、「音楽・音と国際関係」という新しいテーマに挑んでいます。
We study the theme of global history with the goal of gaining a unified understanding that goes from the history of imperialism to modern international relations. At present, along with the histories of British imperialism, the League of Nations and the UN, we are also taking on a new theme of “music/sounds and international relations.”
