担当科目 /Courses	「日本政治論」目まぐるしく変化してきた20世紀の日本政治は、実はドラマティックで面白い。政党政治と社会運動、思想潮流の歴史をたどりながら、「いま」の政治と社会を理解する力を身につけます。「社会科学入門」権力、国家、福祉など、わかっているようで実はよくわからない言葉たち。このような政治学の基礎概念の意味を問い直しながら、社会の「しくみ」を見る眼をやしないます。 Politics and Society in Japan This course examines the history of politics and social movements in 20th-century Japan. By focusing on formation and transformation of “good citizenship” in Japanese political discourse, we will discuss how political ideas have affected the social process, especially in the attempt of (re-)establishing the relationship between private sphere and public sphere.

自由、平等、正義、民主主義、ナショナリズムといった政治的概念の歴史を理解し、他者と共に「よく」生きるための共同体のあり方について考えます。
ゼミの学習目標
（1）理解する力：テクストの言葉が頭を素通りしていかないように、時間をかけて、じっくり、丁寧に読む。テクストから得た知識を自分の言葉に「翻訳」しながら理解する。
（2）説明する力：プレゼンテーションやディスカッションを通して、自分の考えを他の人にわかりやすく説明できるコミュニケーション力を身につける。
（3）批判する力：テクストを批判的に分析し、より良い社会を展望する眼をやしなう。
By examining a variety of political discourses on freedom, equality, justice and democracy, we will learn the process of historical construction of ideas, which will lead us to a deeper thinking on how to coexist with “others” in a political community. These learning experiences will help you to read and understand philosophical texts and stimulate your critical thinking.
