ボサノバの弾き語りをします。声量も技術もなくとも、例のリズムを紡いでさりげなく歌いだせば、声とギターだけでブラジルっぽい世界を作り出せる―ボサノバのそんな手作り感が好きです。
I sing and play bossa nova and samba melodies on the guitar. Even if you do not have technical skills or the ability to project your songs, if you quietly sing out the rhythm, you can create the world of Brazil with just a guitar and your voice. I like the sense of personal crafting that comes from bossa nova.

大学に入学して様々な学問に接すると、興味関心が変化していく人も多いです。
国際学部では、一般教養科目ではなく専門科目として、文化・政治・経済・法律の科目を学ぶことができます。
ひとつの学問に決められない、いろいろな学問に取り組んでみたいという人に、国際学部は最適な環境を提供できると思います。
There are many people whose interests and concerns change once they encounter academic studies in college. Instead of taking general education style classes on topics such as culture, politics, economics, and law, in the Faculty of International Studies, you can take specialized classes that focus on these academic disciplines. I believe the Faculty provides a highly appropriate learning environment to students who prefer to engage range of academic fields rather than just one.

経済学の見方・考え方を用いて様々な社会問題についての理解を深めています。身近な出来事について考えることを通じて経済学の考え方を学んでいる、と言うこともできます。
データを用いた分析も重視しています。今年の演習１では、新型コロナウィルスが社会に及ぼす影響について、経済学の観点から書かれた論文等を読んでいます。
We deepen our understanding of various social problems by using analytic processes and perspectives found in economics. You could also say that in the seminar we study economics by thinking about events and issues that personally affect us. There is also an emphasis on data analysis.
This year, students in the first level seminar are reading studies of the COVID-19 virus’ economic impact on society.

欧州統合のような主権国家間の経済・通貨・政治統合を「政治と経済の相互作用」という観点から考察することで、その新たな意義を明らかにすることを試みています。
大学入学試験方式とその後の学修成果の関係についても関心があります。
In this seminar, we examine the economic, monetary and political integration of sovereign states like those in the European Union, from the perspective of “political and economic interaction,” and we try to clarify new significant points in these interactions. We also examine the relationship between the format of university entrance examinations and students’ subsequent academic achievements.
