AIBA Keiko

ジェンダーの様々な側面について研究してきましたが、2002年からはジェンダーを変容させるものとしての女子プロレスラーの身体に注目し、2016年からは美容実践によって加工されない女性身体が、社会から受け入れられるための理論と実践について考察しています。
I have researched various aspects of gender. Since 2002 I have focused on the bodies of women professional wrestlers in Japan as one type of physical transformation of gender. Since 2016 I have been thinking of relations between gender and the body, especially theories and practices, which enable the social acceptance of women’s bodies that are not transformed by beauty work
