Entrance Ceremony for the Faculty of International Studies (Meiji Gakuin University-hosted)

■ English Placement Test
Date: 9:00 a.m., Thursday, March 21, 2024

*We expect you to take the test. If that is not possible, there is no need to notify us of your absence in advance as we will confirm your attendance on the day.

■ “Freshers Camp” -Welcome Event with New & Current Students & Faculty Members in the Faculty of International Studies
*Meeting time and location details will be announced later (around mid-March). (← Seniors from the Faculty of International Studies are working hard to make materials for the day!)
Date: Saturday, March 30th, 2024
Location: Yokohama Campus, Meiji Gakuin University
Content: An interactive event for all new students in the Faculty of International Studies (FIS). Seniors are planning and organizing creative games. Faculty members will also participate!
What to Bring: Please wear comfortable clothes. Don’t forget to bring indoor and outdoor shoes!

Orientation for Full-time International Students* in AY2024(IC Center-hosted)
* Full-time International Students: “the students without Japanese nationality who belong to the regular course with a status of residence of “Student”. (It doesn’t matter if you enrolled in the entrance exam for privately funded international students.)
We will give you important information before starting your university life, such as renewal of status of residence and reduction of tuition fees. This is a mandatory orientation.
Date: Thursday, April 4th, 11:30-12:30
Venue: Room #1021 (Building 10)
*Please make sure to bring a copy of your residence card (both sides) to submit to IC.
