As a fourth year student, you focus on your seminar to further explore your field of specialization, and in the second semester you submit a graduation thesis as the culmination of your university studies. In addition to guidance from your seminar professor, in the spring semester the Department holds a “Graduation Thesis Explanation” event to instruct you in the writing process. Then in the fall semester, the Department hosts an “Interim Thesis Presentation Session.” At this gathering, fourth years present the results of their research to other students and professors, and it is a valuable opportunity for you to receive feedback that you can use to improve your thesis. This presentation session also gives first, second and third year students a chance to learn from your research experience, and it will stimulate ideas for their own theses.
