■ Place:

■ Introduction of the exhibition:
In the 1980s, NIHON HIDANKYO advocated the “NO MORE HIBAKUSHA Atomic Bomb Victims Demand” based on the voices of atomic bomb survivors. We read the documents from our perspectives considering the historical context. While all panels displayed are written in Japanese, you can also access the “NO MORE HIBAKUSHA Atomic Bomb Victims Demand” in English.
At the venue, actual historical materials related to the documents will also be displayed.

■ Contents of the panels:
We will exhibit approximately 30 panels divided into two chapters. The first chapter is about the process of making the “NO MORE HIBAKUSHA Atomic Bomb Victims Demand.” The document was made from the voices of atomic bomb survivors. The second chapter focuses on the text of the “NO MORE HIBAKUSHA Atomic Bomb Victims Demand,” providing explanations of terms and historical backgrounds. Particularly, in our explanations, we highlight why Hibakusha wrote the “NO MORE HIBAKUSHA Atomic Bomb Victims Demand.” We also emphasize the disparity between Hibakusha and the Japanese government. In this chapter, you’ll find the voices of atomic bomb survivors. Our brief comments are shown in the sections called “One-point Talks” on the panels.

Please feel free to drop by and ask any questions or seek explanations as needed.
We are looking forward to seeing you!
