[Event for New Students] “The Freshers’ Camp” was held

“The Freshers’ Camp” took place on March 31 at Meiji Gakuin University’s Yokohama Campus. The Faculty of International Studies holds the Camp every year to welcome first-year students to college life before their entrance ceremony so that the students can make a smooth transition from high school to college life. Every year, 300 new students participate in the camp. This year, the students played games at the football field and got to meet each other in the morning. The new students listened to a dozen professors’ welcome lectures about college life and learning in the afternoon. They also listened to the tips about college life and study from current students.

Here at Meiji Gakuin University, the faculty and staff support students’ study and life throughout their four years.
