As a fourth-year student, you focus on your seminar to further explore your field of specialization. At the end of the second semester, you will complete and submit a graduation thesis as the culmination of your university studies. In addition to regular guidance from your seminar professor, in the spring semester the Department holds an event to instruct you in research and writing methods. Then in the fall semester, the Department hosts a series of workshops for interim thesis presentation. In the interim presentation sessions, fourth-year students present their ongoing research to other students and professors and seek feedback to improve their theses. This workshop also gives first-, second- and third-year students an opportunity to learn from the experience of fourth-year students and start thinking seriously about their own graduation projects.
