/Background		 京都大学大学院アジア・アフリカ地域研究研究科　博士課程修了、京都大学東南アジア地域研究研究所　連携助教などを経て、現職。博士（地域研究、京都大学）
Prior to coming to Meiji Gakuin, I received a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Asian and African Studies at Kyoto University, and then I was an Affiliated Assistant Professor in the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, Kyoto University.
Ph.D. in Area Studies, Kyoto University, 2015.
M.A. in Area Studies, Kyoto University, 2010.
B.A. in Literature, Ritsumeikan University, 2006.

ゼミ紹介

Seminar

オセアニア地域研究（海の文化、社会、歴史、経済、政治など）。太平洋に広がる海洋世界について、学生の方々自らの関心に基づいてテーマを設定し、文化人類学の手法を用いて考えます。
Pacific regional studies (maritime culture, society, history, economics, politics, etc.) Students choose a topic based on an aspect of the Pacific Ocean world that interests them, and then they use cultural anthropological methods to study that topic.

研究テーマ

オセアニアのオーラリティ研究。フィールドはパラオ。口頭伝承の採集・分析、少数言語のデジタルアーカイブ化など。
・Oral Tradition, Orality of Oceania. Field work in Palau. We collect and analyze oral lore and look at topics such as the digital archivization of minority languages.
・Intangible Culture
・Small Islands Studies
